Our InterAct After-School Programs

InterAct Theatre School offers after-school musical theatre programs at a growing number of local elementary schools, bringing acting, singing and dance directly to students at the end of their school day. Our current after-school programs are hosted at Harding Elementary School, Adelante Charter School, McKinley Elementary School, Washington Elementary School, Peabody Charter School, Monte Vista Elementary School and Mountain View Elementary School. Each InterAct after-school program provides students with a complete theatre experience, led by trained teachers from the professional performing arts world. Through weekly classes in acting, singing and dance, students develop their performance skills while building confidence, creativity, communication and teamwork.

Throughout the program, students work together on casting and rehearsals toward a fully staged musical performance for family and friends. InterAct provides the original scripts and music, costumes, props and set, as well as the technical and production support needed to bring the show to life.

It’s a fun, creative and supportive theatre experience where students can learn new skills, make friends and discover the confidence that comes from performing together.

• Term Cost: $400 (please note: There are extra fees if registering through Homeroom system)

Program Details – Fall Session 2026:

• When: Wednesdays, from 3 pm to 5 pm
• Dates: 2nd September- 16th December (No classes: 30th September, 11th, 18th + 25th November)
• Duration: 12 weeks
• For: Grades 2-6
• Term Cost: $504 (plus a $25 registration pack for new students)
• Deposit: $151 (Includes a registration pack for new students. Choose between paying the balance for the term or in 3 additional installments of $126)

SBUSD-Funded After School Theatre Programs

We’re thrilled to partner with Santa Barbara Unified School District to offer fully funded musical theatre programs at select schools! Limited spaces are available in these programs, where students can explore singing, dance, and acting, culminating in a fun and confidence-boosting performance.

Participating Schools:

• Harding Elementary (Grades 2-6) – Mondays 3pm – 5pm
• Adelante (Grades 2-6) – Tuesdays 3pm – 5pm
